The Strategic Advisory Board assists in determining the direction and strategy of the organization in serving the contact center professional and community. With input from the SAB, CCA will focus on and deliver information to help professionals prepare and meet tomorrow's industry challenges.
The Board is a balanced mix of independent, non-partisan, individuals who are representative of the many diverse contact center disciplines and interests. As set forth in its charter, the primary mission of the board is to advise and counsel, to provide advice related to product development, industry trends, membership needs and their impact on the association; to assist the association and its programs in remaining responsive to the needs of members, business, industry, education and communities; to identify collaborative educational and research opportunities to promote the professional aspects of the industry; serve as a source of ideas and support for association development and to be an advocate for its growth.
The goal of the Board is to develop consensus policy recommendations and advice. When this is not possible, the Board will convey its recommendations in a manner that communicates the points of view expressed by all Board members. The Board’s function is to advise, not to govern.
